Tweetographics
In November 2014, I participated in the Marcato Hackathon. I built a Twitter App that produced a visual demographic of tweets.
You can use this simple program to view where people are tweeting about a certain topic. This could be items in the news, elections, for example or an epidemic. Closer to home, if you just released a new music video, launched a new product, website, etc., you could use this program to have an efficient view of who is interested in it.
You can enter a #hashtag or a string of text to see who is contributing to Twitter's trending topics and also view who is tweeting about that.
